TIZANI COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Last Updated: September 9, 2026
Tizani is a community for anime fans to share what they love, talk about series and characters, and find new things to watch and read. These Community Guidelines set the ground rules that keep Tizani welcoming for everyone.
These Guidelines are issued by Tizani LLC ("Tizani") and are part of the Tizani Terms of Service, and the terms defined there carry the same meaning here. Tizani may enforce these Guidelines at its discretion and has no obligation to monitor content. Tizani may update these Guidelines, and your continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the change.
Who Can Be Here
Tizani is for people who are 16 or older. You may not use Tizani if you are under 16. If you learn that someone under 16 is using Tizani, report the account so the team can review it and remove it when required.
Treat Every Member With Respect
People come to Tizani to enjoy something they care about. Speak to others the way you would want to be spoken to. Disagree about a series or a character without turning it on the person.
No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, or personal attacks against anyone.
No demeaning a person for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any similar trait.
No coordinated pile-ons, stalking, or encouraging others to harass a member.
Be a Real Person, Honestly Represented
Use one account for yourself. Do not impersonate another person, creator, or organization, and do not run accounts to mislead other users.
Your username and profile picture must not infringe another person's rights or break the content rules below.
Rate and Review Honestly
Ratings and reviews should reflect what you genuinely think about an anime. You are free to dislike a series and give it a low rating, but you may not use Tizani's rating system to artificially manipulate an anime's score.
Do not participate in review bombing or coordinate with others to artificially raise or lower an anime's rating.
Do not use multiple accounts, organized campaigns, or other methods to manipulate ratings.
Do not encourage other members to submit ratings that do not reflect their genuine opinions.
If you rate an anime 1.9 or lower, Tizani will display a warning reminding you of this rule and may automatically flag your account activity for review. A rating of 1.9 or lower is not, by itself, a violation of these Guidelines. You are allowed to genuinely believe an anime deserves a very low rating.
When an account is flagged, Tizani moderators or administrators may review relevant rating and account activity to determine whether the activity appears to constitute review bombing or rating manipulation. A suspension for review bombing will not be imposed solely because an automated system flagged an account.
When Tizani determines that an account has engaged in review bombing or rating manipulation, the standard enforcement progression is:
First violation: 24-hour suspension.
Second violation: 3-day suspension.
Third violation: 7-day suspension.
Fourth violation: 30-day suspension.
Fifth violation: permanent ban.
Tizani may remove or exclude ratings associated with review bombing or rating manipulation. Tizani also reserves the right to impose a more serious penalty, including a permanent ban, without following the standard progression when warranted by the severity or circumstances of the conduct.
Attempts to evade enforcement, including by creating or using another account during a suspension or after a permanent ban, may result in additional account action.
If you believe Tizani incorrectly determined that you engaged in review bombing or rating manipulation, you may appeal the decision by contacting support@tizaniapp.com
Post Only Content You Have the Right to Share
Anime fandom runs on art, clips, and discussion. Share what is yours or what you have permission to use, and give credit where it is due.
Post your own work, or work you have the right to post. Do not present someone else's art, writing, or video as your own.
Do not upload full copyrighted episodes, scans, or other material in a way that infringes the rights of a studio, publisher, or creator. Rights holders can report content they believe infringes their copyright through the process described in the Terms of Service.
Respect spoilers. Use a spoiler warning or a spoiler thread when you post major plot details, so others can choose when to read them.
What Is Never Allowed
Some content is never permitted on Tizani and is reviewed by a person, not by software alone. This includes:
Any sexual content involving a minor, or any content that sexualizes a real child or a character depicted as a child. This is removed immediately and reported to the authorities where required by law.
Sexual or explicit adult content, and content that is obscene or pornographic.
Threats, incitement of violence, or content that promotes or coordinates harm to a person.
Content that promotes terrorism, human trafficking, or the sexual exploitation of any person.
Illegal activity, or content that helps others break the law.
Malware, phishing, or attempts to compromise the platform or other accounts.
Spam, scams, or repetitive unsolicited promotion.
Watch for Scams
No member should pressure you to send money, share financial details, or move a conversation to an outside app to complete a payment. A request to send funds through a payment app, wire, gift card, or cryptocurrency is a warning sign of a scam. Do not pay, and report the account.
Reporting
If something breaks these Guidelines, report it. You can report a user or a piece of content for harassment, infringing or stolen content, a fake or impersonating account, a scam, or anything else that concerns you.
You can report content by using the in-app Report feature or by emailing support@tizaniapp.com. Reports are kept confidential from the person you report. You can also block a user at the same time.
How Tizani Responds
When a rule is broken, Tizani reviews the report and responds in a way that fits what happened. Depending on the violation, the outcome may be a warning, removal of the content, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. The most serious matters are reviewed by a person and are not decided by software alone. A permanently banned user may not register a new account to get around the ban.
If You Think Tizani Got It Wrong
If your account is suspended or your content is removed, you may ask Tizani to review the decision. Contact support@tizaniapp.com within 3 business days of the action and tell the team your username, the content or decision you are appealing, and why you believe it was a mistake. A person who did not make the original decision will look at your request and let you know the outcome by email within 3 business days. If Tizani upholds the original decision after review, that decision is final.
The Spirit of Tizani
These rules come down to a few things: respect the people behind the profiles, share honestly, protect the community, and keep Tizani a place anime fans are glad to belong to. If you are unsure whether something belongs here, leave it out or ask the team first.
