TIZANI DMCA AND COPYRIGHT POLICY
Last Updated: September 9, 2026
Tizani LLC ("Tizani") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This DMCA and Copyright Policy explains how to report content on the Tizani application and related services (the "Service") that you believe infringes your copyright, and how a user whose content is removed can respond. This Policy is part of the Tizani Terms of Service.
This Policy sets out a notice and takedown process, a counter-notification process, and a policy of removing users who repeatedly infringe.
1. Designated Copyright Agent
Tizani has designated an agent to receive notices of claimed copyright infringement. You can reach the designated agent at:
support@tizaniapp.com
Tizani has registered this agent with the United States Copyright Office.
2. How to Report Copyright Infringement
If you own a copyright, or are authorized to act for the owner, and you believe content on the Service infringes that copyright, send a written notice to the designated agent above. To be effective, your notice must include all of the following:
Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed, or a representative list if there are several works.
Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for Tizani to locate it, such as the URL or the location within the Service.
Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that under penalty of perjury you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
3. What Happens After Tizani Receives a Notice
When Tizani receives a valid notice, it will remove or disable access to the material within a reasonable time and will take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted it that the material has been removed. Tizani may keep a record of the notice.
4. Counter-Notification
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or that you have the right to post the content, you may send a counter-notification to the designated agent. To be effective, your counter-notification must include all of the following:
Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any district where Tizani may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or that person's agent.
5. What Happens After a Counter-Notification
When Tizani receives a valid counter-notification, it will forward a copy to the person who filed the original notice. Tizani may restore the removed material in not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification, unless the original notifier tells Tizani that it has filed a court action seeking to stop the user from infringing.
6. Repeat Infringers
Tizani will terminate, in appropriate circumstances and in its sole discretion, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. Tizani will treat a user as a repeat infringer if Tizani receives 2 or more valid notices of claimed infringement involving that user within any 12-month period, or if a court finds the user liable for infringement on 2 or more occasions. Tizani may also terminate or restrict a user's account based on the number and nature of infringement notices even where that threshold has not been met. Tizani may terminate a repeat infringer's account without advance notice and may bar the user from creating a new account on the Service.
7. Misrepresentations
A person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or a counter-notification, such as claiming that material is infringing when it is not, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
8. Trademark and Other Intellectual Property
If you believe content on the Service infringes a trademark or another intellectual property right rather than a copyright, contact Tizani at support@tizaniapp.com with a description of the right, the material at issue, and your contact information.
9. Changes to This Policy
Tizani may update this Policy. Tizani will post the revised Policy with a new date. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
